Refunds & Returns: We do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind. If you believe your item is faulty, please return it to us for a thorough inspection. Should the item be found defective, we will proceed with repair or replacement in accordance with our warranty policy.
Warranty: OM Gold & Diamonds offers a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase or collection, which covers any manufacturing defects. If your jewellery item presents a fault within this time frame, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- General wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Improper use or misuse (e.g., exposure to harsh chemicals, excessive force)
- Failure to follow care instructions (as outlined on any OM Gold & Diamonds invoice)
- Repairs or alterations performed by anyone other than OM Gold & Diamond’s authorised specialists
These exclusions are essential to ensure the longevity and care of your jewellery.
Care Plans: To keep your jewellery looking its best, we offer complimentary cleaning services for all jewellery purchases. Additionally, we provide optional care plans that include regular polishing, re-plating, cleaning, and minor alterations. These plans are available for an additional charge and help maintain the appearance and condition of your jewellery over time.
Rhodium Plating: Certain jewellery pieces, such as white gold and some silver items, are rhodium plated to enhance their appearance and durability. This plating is not permanent and may require periodic re-plating to maintain the original look. Rhodium plating is excluded from the warranty but is covered under our optional care plans.
Repairs & Replacements: If a repair is carried out under warranty, a new 12-month warranty will be provided exclusively for the repair carried out. The original warranty for the item (excluding the repaired portion) will continue from the original purchase date. If the item is replaced, the new item will come with a new 12-month warranty, starting from the replacement date. For repairs on items outside of the warranty period or items not purchased from OM Gold & Diamonds, a 12-month warranty will be issued exclusively for the repair carried out.
Watches: Please note that warranties for watches are provided directly by the manufacturer, not OM Gold & Diamonds. Any faults or repair inquiries should be directed to the manufacturer or their authorised service centre.
Warranty Voidance: OM Gold & Diamonds reserves the right to inspect the item and determine if the warranty is void due to:
- Misuse or alteration
- Exposure to extreme conditions
- Deterioration due to improper use or lack of care If such conditions are identified, the warranty will be considered void, and repair or replacement may no longer be applicable under the warranty terms.
Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
